新年快乐! (Happy Chinese New Year!) 🎆🏮🧧 ⠀ ⠀ Maybe you can't judge a book by its cover, but you can certainly judge a dumpling by the quality of its dough. 😍🥟 We've taken this knowledge to heart with the creation of our naturally-colored rainbow potstickers– how do you think we did? 🤩🌈 ⠀ ⠀ In Northern China, the dumpling-making process is a time-honored tradition, one that is cherished both for bringing the family closer together and manifesting hopes for the New Year. Dumpling fillings/ingredients can often signify what one hopes to gain in the coming year, such as good fortune, prosperity, and happiness. With this in mind, we used EXBERRY® colors from fruits and vegetables in these vibrant dumplings, which we hope can help to bring you an abundance of creativity, joy, and good health in 2020! 🎨🌱 ⠀ ⠀ Question of the Day 💬 Which of these colors would you want to try first? 😋🥢

Feeling blue about artificial colors in your cookies? 😱 It’s time to let those apprehensions crumble away, because, if you can believe it, these natural cerulean gradients are true blue! 💙 ⠀ ⠀ When we saw these beautiful ombre rainbow cookies in @bonappetitmag 's recipes, we knew it was love at first sight. 😍 And, thanks to popular demand (shoutout to everyone who replied to our story poll 🙌), it was officially decided— we simply needed to recreate these beauties! Just, you know, with a few minor deviations... (Please forgive us, almighty @allisoneroman 🙏 ) ⠀ ⠀ With the idea of a Winter Wonderland theme on our minds lately, we figured we’d make these in a frosty blue gradient with our EXBERRY® natural food coloring! ❄️ (Pro Tip: By not using egg yolks in the base, we were able to hack the recipe to maintain control over the exact color shade and make sure it didn’t sway too close to turquoise!) Also, yes, we know the original recipe didn’t call for it, but what can we say? We love our chocolate! 😋🍫 ⠀ ⠀ It’s no secret that blue candy, desserts, and beverages have often gotten a cold shoulder. 🥶 But did you know that this is largely due to an adversity to artificial colors and a widespread misconception about where blue food coloring comes from? 🧐 Thanks to the growing popularity of purple sweet potatoes, blue corn, blue butterfly pea flowers, and spirulina, though, today’s health-conscious consumers looking for natural, clean label products are getting reintroduced to blue food coloring— but this time, it’s on their own turf. 🌱🌈 ⠀ ⠀ Question of the Day 💬 Have you had tried anything that was colored with natural blue food coloring? What flavors do you normally expect blue foods and beverages to be?
