Plant-based green EXBERRY® colors for food and drink

Green is rooted in nature, invoking a sense of health and wholesomeness and a connection with the outdoors. EXBERRY® greens open up vast opportunities for nourishing and eye-catching food and drink.

Green is associated with health, balance and harmony

A survey of consumers around the world shows green is most strongly associated with contentment.[1] It is associated with healthy superfoods and is connected to balance and harmony. It is viewed as the color of growth, renewal, and rebirth throughout much of the world. Green is valued highly in many Asian countries, where it is often linked to eternal life, fertility, youth, health, prosperity, and new beginnings.

EXBERRY® greens are made from fruits and vegetables

Green EXBERRY® color concentrates are made from non-GMO fruits and vegetables using physical processing methods such as chopping and boiling.

Understanding technical factors is vital when using plant-based green colors

  • To produce green color shades, a concentrate of spirulina is mixed with a concentrate of yellow raw materials to deliver a spectrum from turquoise to lime green
  • For optimal results, it is important to protect the spirulina from high temperatures and acid during the manufacturing process

After a careful screening process, our team will work closely together with you in order to achieve your desired color shade.
